A suggestion for a new topic
 

In slowly going through the visa requirements I realized that it would be an easy matter for someone who has the information to make a list of all countries by continent that issue visas at their borders. A lot of travelers ask questions about visas and beging able to open one thread to learn this might be a good idea.

Go for it! BUT important - also note what your citizenship is, as it can vary for different citizens whether or not you can get a visa at the border.

The problem with this is not only that it depends on your nationality, but in some cases which border you want to cross. On top of that it keeps changing all the time. So, you would need something like a database and somebody would need to maintain it. And if that wasn't enough, reliable info can be hard to come by for some countries. The mood or (in)competence of the border official you are dealing with also comes into play...
