Any suggestions for medical insurance?

Good day to you! I'm currently in Colombia en route Central America, needing to renew my health insurance.

Previously I went through Navigator Travel in the UK. For worldwide insurance (excl US) with cover of up to £5,000,000, the annual premium was only around £400.

However, that policy cannot be renewed after the 2 years which has now lapsed. They recommended IMG Int'l Med Grp or HCC Atlas. Just got a quote from the latter the premium is almost 3x the cost for $1,000,000.

It almost gives me heart attack just thinking about it.

Any other suggestions?
