Applying for visas - locations
Next year I will be riding through Ukraine, Russia, Mongolia and the Stans. I have an Irish passport but I live in the UK and will be going on a UK registered bike with UK licence. I have done a search but it's not clear to me so please forgive the dumb question.
Some of the countries I will visit are border visas/visa free or e-visas but for others you need to apply at an embassy. Can I get visas in my country of residence or do I need to apply at the embassies in my country of nationality? Are there likely to be any border issues with different nationality of bike and rider? TIA |

Country of residence is fine. >Are there likely to be any border issues with different nationality of bike and rider? Nope. If the bike is in your name, it doesn't matter if the plates are different from your passport. |
