Applying for a US B2 Visa - address while in US
Sorry if this is a bit of "read the FAQ" moment, but can;t find a reference in any threads.
My wife and are are off to the states for 3 months touring, the flights are booked for exactly 90 days, which covers the Visa Waiver, but then we got to thinking. What if the flight gets delayed ? What if we get delayed sorting the bikes for return trip ? What if we just don't fancy coming home yet ? So, off to fill in the B2 form. And Americans being Americans they seem to think you will have a permanent residence in the country. Should I leave it blank ? or Stick a name of an hotel in ? or Trawl friends and relations for an address ? TIA |
When I entered New York in June, if I remember right I just put the address of the youth hostel where I was staying for the first 3 nights. This seems to satisfy customs.
Sorry I cant help with the other questions Ride safe Paul |
yes, done that myself on a Visa Waiver before now.
I've managed to contact a cousin in New York who is happy to let me use his address |
