California Residents Help? - DMV/Insurance/Address
 

Hi,

I am an Irish citizen and I recently graduated from University several months ago. I decided to quit my job to travel from La to Argentina. I am flying to LA this Sunday and buying a motorcycle.

I have just become aware that I need an address to register my motorcycle to in California.

Unfortunately, I do not have any close friends there who could lend me an address temporarily so I could register the bike. I will be staying in America for just over 1 month, and when i leave I will take the bike of the address.

I was wondering if you could help me out please? Either you could personally allow me to use your address to register my bike with or you have a close friend in the state of California who could.

When the papers arrive I would like to pick them up off you or I will supply money for postage to my current address.

Also if anyone could help me out with insurance advice? I have been in contact with motorcycle express but I am unsure whether registering the bike with the DMV they will accept a New Jersey ID. I would like to get a policy and cancel it after a month.
