Can you buya motorcycle from some one with out being there.
I have a friend who is finishing his motorcycle trip probably in Chile. He has offered me the bike to ride but ideally I would like to start the trip a month later is there anyway of doing this with out me being in the country?
Is a letter of permision to drive the motorcycle enough to cross a boarder? Or are there any countries that do not use a Temporary Import Visa like Paraguay or Brazil? Is it possible to leave a motorcycle in SA and have some one else ride it later? |
it is probably possible for him to sell the bike if he will give an authorization signed at the notary to somebody else.
for buying the bike you have to be there and the authorized person. A letter is not enough for you crossing borders. Everything needs to be done at the notary otherwise it is worthless. to get the authorization you need to go to a notary with the owner. peru does not accept "poders", you have to be the official owner. |
