Carnet de Passage question

I know I have to include my tools & spares on the Carnet, but do I have to include my electronics?
eg: GPS, Headset, GPS tracker & their mounts.

Hi herman.fogknottle and welcome,
I would suggest you don't put any spares or electronics equipment on your carnet, if you use or lose any of them your list will not tally with what you are carrying which might create a problem. I have never listed anything other than the basic vehicle and never had a problem, if customs want anything on a list they will write it in your passport but this is unlikely.

Hi Herman,

:welcome:

I agree with Mark: don't put any accessories on the carnet.
On the other hand, I would keep a copy of your (complete) inventory ready for checkpoints in Nigeria and some other countries. Some said that this was required, and I didn't have one.
Withs some borders you have to list your electronic equipment on entry (camera, laptop, etc), and they will check on exit.

Hope this helps,

Cheers,

Gee

I have had only my bike on my carnet. Nothing else.

I did not include anything on my Carnet. Not my GPS, not my spare tires, not my tools nothing.
