Hello Everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know that the duty on the value of your bike for a CAA issued carnet including Iran, has jumped from 30% to 120% since January...

Hi, I was told that you don't need a Carnet for any Central Asian Country(nor Russia, Georgia, Turkey or Azer) by the German ADAC last week.

When I was in Iran I met people in a van who had entered without a carnet; instead they spent three days at the border getting transit permission. This was a couple of years ago mind you.
