Carnet for Australian on EU bike?
 

Hi guys,

I am going to be buying most likely an Irish registers bike, I want to get a carnet for Iran but the UK RAC price is out of control.

I emailed th ADAC in Germany but they said they couldn't give md a carnet and to go through RAC.

Has anyone from Australia, or any non EU resideng managed to get a carnet from a country where their bike was NOT registered?

I am/will be in the same situation and doing a very similar trip. I will be watching your thread with interest. Let's hope you get some further information.
