Carnet unused, possible to sell the motorbike?
 

Hi,
I got a Carnet for my motorcycle with the German ADAC. I was thinking it would be wise to get one as the original plan was to ride my motorbike from Europe to India. However, I'm currently in Georgia and prefer to do the stans and continue to Mongolia.

Turns out I don't need the carnet for this route. My question is if it's possible to sell the bike in for instance Mongolia or Kazakhstan, since my Carnet isn't used.

I think yes, but why not ask the issuer instead of random people on a forum?

Well that's what I tried but the funny thing is, you need to have a login (membership with them) in order to ask questions...

FYI, I just got a reply from ADAC. I can just send the CdP back to them provided that it is not used and sell the bike at the other end of the world if I want.
