gday all
planning a trip london -vladivostock for next year.thought i got away with the requirement for carnets till i discovered finland and denmark still require them .does anyone know if this still the case .
i will be travelling on an australian registered bike . cheers

To my knowledge no European country requires carnets. I went through Finland and Denmark in 2002 on a Canada-registered bike without a carnet. The same should be valid for Aussies.

My Carnet was stamped into the Netherlands last year..problem was I couldnt find a border where they would stamp it out! So start somewhere other than Holland to avoid the Carnet..mind you if I didnt have one maybe I would have gotten away with it.
