Engine number missing
 

Having rebuilt my wifes F650GS ready for our forthcoming trip, I have been heavy handed with the degreaser on the engine casing and have removed the engine number and bar code, all that is left is a plain white sticker !
Any ideas if this will cause problems at borders with the carnet ?

It should also be stamped into the engine casing, low down on the left side.

Look for a series of dots punched in the vertical side of a small 'ledge' about a quarter inch high and 3 inches wide, immediatly behind the gear lever.
