Entering and driving through Iran from UAE without CDP with a UAE registered bike.
 

I am sure this topic has been discussed here, however , none of the previous threads seems to answer my question in particular or with current dated infos.

I am planning on riding from the UAE to Europe and the only country on the way that requires a CDP is Iran. With the deposit for the CDP in the UAE being quite high, I am trying to find out whether or not there is a way to transit through
Iran (on the way out and on the return from Europe) without a CDP.

It'd be great if any of you have current information on the above, or pointers on how to do it and / or how not to. If there is no other alternative but the CDP, I at least tried. :cool4:
