EU vehicle insurance that includes Ukraine?
 

hello,

have been searching but cant find anything...

last year i bought a month from Ivo at motocampbg, but it doesnt include Ukraine..
this year i plan to cross Ukraine on my way to Kazakhstan, and would like to simplify, if possible...

if unable, any suggestions for insurance in Ukraine?

any suggestions?

I live in Germany and my insurance green card covered me for Ukraine and Russia. Kazakhstan was €20 for a month bought at the border.

bike and i are both from canada.

i contacted a company recommended from here on the hubb, and they said:

The insurance is valid for all the EU countries, doesnt include non EU like
Ukraine, Serbia, etc.

i was just trying to find a company that would be able to insure the bike and i, for more then just the EU

TourInsure.de includes 'Green Card' (minimum required liability) in Eastern Europe, including RU and Ukraine, but NOT theft in Eastern Europe.
Same cover also available from Knopftours.com.
Check with either to verify info on their website(s) when you apply.
Or
Purchase (cheaper) Green Card from other brokers, and buy 'border' insurance
when crossing into Ukraine or other Eastern Europe countries not included in
EU Green Card.
