European Breakdown Insurance
 

I've had a look online for breakdown insurance but most policies restrict cover to 90 days in a year, and/or bike age. Can somebody suggest a policy that will cover me for up to 6 months on a 2013 UK bike? Would be nice if it covered more than just the EU area too. Thanks!

Get a second policy when you have used up the 90 days for the first one?

ADAC in Germany used to do European cover - I don’t know if they still do though.

They do. ADAC-Plus membership covers whole of Europe.

FWIW, I'm currently looking at a multi trip annual policy from eurobreakdown dot com. Covers a bike up to 15 years old for the whole European region, 90 days at a time (and since my trip will take me east of the EU before coming back, that should qualify) including recovery to a repair shop.

Nothing outside the European region of course, but I think I was always going to have to take my chances there.
