Experiences? Bringing the bike back home - export from US to Europe / Germany
 

At the end of August 2014 i have to leave the US after a beautiful ride through Canada and the US. My bike will be shipped by Wallenius Willemsen (roll-on roll-off) from Seattle / Tacoma (WA) back to Bremerhaven, Germany.

They recommend a broker to do the paperwork with customs in USA. Since these guys usually cost (a lot of) money i am wondering if anybody has some experiences in doing all this by himself? What is exactly to do? How long does it take? What are the obstacles?
