Extended Euro Insurance

If I were you I would register the bike in France. That way you wont have any Road tax or MOT's to worry about as well as having full euro green card cover. Some time this year I intend getting a French drivers licence also

(but I am not sure what you mean by "one month at a time" in this context). Incidentally, surely French insurance has to be recognised in the UK, at least until the day that the UK (or Scotland) leaves the EU? |

http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...nsurance-69071 There again, France is reputed to have the most cases of any country outstanding against it within the European courts for flouting the regulations. I'll have to get around to looking at the small print of my multi-bike, single rider policy brokered by ebike. I spent quite a bit of effort on this at the last renewal, to get what I wanted and not what they were offering to sell at the time. "it's just that the Gendarmes tend to give Uk registered vehicles more leeway" - the same thing happens here nowadays, especially with all the reliance on automatic systems to catch the miscreants. I have watched traffic wardens walk straight past vehicles which have foreign plates while ticketing UK registered vehicles - it's all too much paperwork. |
