from Singapore to Java
Morning everyone!
We are planning to ship the bike from Singapore to Java. Anyone tried? I read on the forum that in Java the custom does not allow to enter any foreign vehicle... any recommendations for the shipping company? thanks |
Don't. Go to Penang and see Cakra Shipping. They get your bike(s) across to Medan and you can ride anywhere in Indonesia from there.

Why not?
We do not want to go to Sumatra!!!! |
Then get ready for major problems. If you read the posts on this site you will read that everybody who has recently shipped vehicles to anywhere but Medan had them confiscated, unless they had obtained some kind of permission document from an Indo embassy beforehand.
Maybe you have a specific reason for wanting to go to Java directly, but we found Sumatra much more interesting than Java. Since you will be able to ship to Medan very quickly you may find it's quicker, easier and cheaper to go that way to Java. Anyway, this is just my experience and opinion. If you do go another way please share your experience with us here on HUBB. |
