help: To Senegal next week, but not yet Carnet!
 

Hi,

I m planning to go to Senegal next week, departure from Brussels, with my motorcycle (older then 5 years)

I was highly convinced that I saw a topic here 'Senegal without Carnet', and I remembered that there was no need to have a carnet.

Stupid as I am doh I did not think on this again as my departure was coming, so now I am searching some info on this, but I cannot find this topic.


-It says on HUBB page 'It is only required at the North Border, and drivers usually get through without a Carnet by paying a variable amount between 80-100 Euros.'
Is this still ok?

-and if not, my other options are maybe:
getting a carnet speedway?
getting a carnet, and let it send to a hotel on my way?

I can shoot myself in the head a few times new...
