Hire excess insurance for motorbikes
 

Can anyone recommend a company that I can buy hire excess insurance (CDW and SLI) for a trip to the States. I am loathed to pay the hire companies excess insurance, and there are lots of companies selling car hire excess, just can't find any that cover large capacity bikes.

Depending on your length of stay in the US it might prove cheaper to buy a bike and get the minimum insurance required ?

Yep, did think of that, but I am only over there for three weeks, so, a hire it is.
