importing a vehicle to the UK
 

Hi all,

I live in the UK and have been offered a free car by a friend in Ireland. I would like to take him up on his offer and bring the car to the UK and register it here. I would need to insure the car for the trip over and am looking at some sort of temporary cover. I can find plenty of companies who will provide one or two days cover for a UK-registered car but haven't managed to find any that will be cover a foreign-registered car abroad and in the UK. Any ideas?
