Insurance

Howdy! I am in Mexico about to cross into Guatamala. Is it recomended to purchase insurance for Central America? Any recomendations would be appriciated.

We rode Central America and only bought the insurance required at the border.

In Nicaragua it cost US$12 and in Costa Rica about 5,000 colones. No other CA country made us buy at the border, so we roade without insurance. We asked in Guatemala and they said we did not need it for there.
