What insurance do I need to ride my Australian bike in Canada and the US?

They were the only option that I had found for my trip in 2011.
Most States and Provinces require different insurance.
Depending on your coverage it's an expensive trip.

Cheapest option is to get on the adv FORUM, ask if a kind inmate will let you use his address in the US and give Progressive a call or you can do it online.

We did the above and it all worked out fine, the only problem was that we had to send them a copy of our driving license to prove we had motorcycle entitlement. I think it cost $200 for an annual policy.
