Insurance for items left in the vehicle overnight
 

Does anyone know of any insurance policies that will cover the equipment that is left in the vehicle overnight/while it is temporarily unattended. I won't be sleeping on the vehicle in a roof tent but instead will be alongside in a tent most of the time. I'm having real trouble finding a company that will cover both my equipment and any medical problem caused by operating a motor vehicle. I've tried a range of high street insurers and some of the more specialist backpacker services, including some who specifically state overland expeditions in their promotional literature.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Campbell Irvine told me that anything that is bolted onto the vehicle is considered part of the vehicle, so apart from my camera equipment, everything else is pretty much covered by normal travel insurance.
