Insurance for UK reg bike in Australia?
 

Can anyone supply me with the name and number of an insurance company in Australia that will supply TPFT cover for a UK registered bike.

Hi, when I took my bike to Ozz the regs were get the bike inspected by their version of an MOT station, only they are government run, then register the bike in Ozz and the number plate is your basic third party insurance, then go to any insurance co and add on fire and theft, obviously a real ball ache which is why I didn`t bother, just don`t get the bike nicked or crash. Any bike shop there should be able to tell you where to go who to see etc.

Thanks for the pointers, I've registered the bike as OS (over seas) which gives me the basic government supplied third party. Unfortunately the insurance companies won't touch it unless it's fully registered here.

I'll carry on hunting.
