any info on driving from aqaba to egypt via the sinai costs,visas,carnet and road conditions etc

Be aware that bringing a vehicle into and out of Egypt is a difficult, expensive and time consuming experience. As far as we know, no one has entered without a carnet. For our experience entering by road from Libya, which other travellers have confirmed is still the norm, see:
