Kaliningrad & Russia visa
In July I'm taking of on a trip to Russia via Germany, Poland, Kalinigrad, Baltic States onto St. Petersburg. I guess I will need a multiple entry visa for Russia as I like to go to Kaliningrad also.
Any info? Gr, Vincent |
Hiya,
You need to get a double entry visa! Easy to get... you just tick a different box on the visa application form... just costs a wee bit more! You need to state date of entry so we gave ourself's 2 days grace incase anything went wrong... it didn't so we spent a few days in the Helsinki area which was lovely. I'd get this sorted soon... the visa's take as long as they want them to take... you won't rush it along! We did a similar trip to yours in 2010... From Scotland, through England, Netherlands, Germany... ferry to Finland... cross into Russia, St. Petersburg, Novgorod, Moscow mainly then back through the Baltics, Kaliningrad and Poland! Definitely worth going to Kaliningrad... very different from mainland Russia... they speak to you and are sooooooo glad that you have come to visit their wee part of Russia! One of the hotels in Kaliningrad lets you camp for a small fee too! Let me know if you'd like anymore info! Beej |
Thanks,

Belarus has basically the same system as Russia. First get a letter of invitation and then apply for visa. Much friendlier than Russia but a little slow in issuing visa. I have used the real Russia website to get my invitation letter this year for Russia. Good website and very helpful and charming if you telephone them.
Good luck John |
All my papers for Russia are ok now. I used Express to Russia. I've got my LOI the next day via email.(normally was 3 days). Price: 15€:thumbup1:
