LA airport temp import
 

Hi hubbers

was wondering if anyone could describe the temporary import procedures at LA airport. A freind is heading over next week, flying his F650 to LAX and wants to collect the bike from there. Do they have places to dump the crate? etc. No carnet needed so its just the customs clearance processes.

Hi Alec,

we shipped to LA but by sea, had to pay U$50 to get two crates destroyed and sorted out the paperwork at customs in the city. Can't remember the address, but we grabbed it from a phone book - wasn't hard to find.
