'laiser-passer' or 'carnet de passage'?
Hello again,
My topic of yesterday seems to be disappeared. Strange. Anyway I post it again. I'm planning a trip of 8 months through northern- and western Africa and the Middle East. What's the profit of using a 'carnet de passage' instead of buying a 'laisser-passer' in every country? Kind regards, Jan [This message has been edited by beyersjan (edited 10 June 2004).] [This message has been edited by beyersjan (edited 11 June 2004).] |
Hi,
only in (most of) west-african countries you can by a "laisser passer". In cnetral african states this systhem doesn`t exist for tourists. There you have to use a "carnet de passage". Your Profit: If you sell your car, covered by a laisser passer, the custom formalies for you are more simply. ------------------ www.brummi-tours.de |
