Motorcycle insurance for 85 year old rider
 

I’ve been renting motorcycles in the Isle of Man for years but recently my renter changed insurance and they no longer insure anyone over 70. I considered buying a Piaggio 500 three wheeler and leaving it with a friend but they won’t insure “twist and go” type machines because they are the most stolen bikes in London. Nothing to do with the Isle of Man but them’s the rules. I’m in good health, hold valid international drivers license for cars and motorcycles as well as Mexican license for both, have no claims of any kind on any insurance.
Does anyone know of a specialty insurance company that will insure me?
We also tried to put the bike in my friends name and he could “loan” it to me for a couple of weeks every year but they won’t insure anyone over 80 for that.

Have you tried comparethemarket or other comparison sites?

No because for some reason my ipad won’t let me go to those sites. When I click on the site I get a warning and I can’t bypass it.
