Motorcycle Insurance in Canada/US for foreign bikes
 

Hello Everyone,

I am currently in Japan on my RTW with a Namibian (Africa) registered bike. I am Canadian but live in Africa. Can anyone help me with some info on how to get temporary motorcycle insurance for 3 months for Canada and US?
I would appreciate any help

Progressive.com ask someone on here for a US address.

However each US state varies as to whether foreign drivers can take out state insurance. I use Maryland and got really good rates and then asked for a card for Canada

You can do the quote and buy online and return the signed documents they require online as well

If you get U.S insurance they will provide a yellow card for Canada free. I only pay about $100/year for liability on three bikes.
