One Way flight to Brazil
Hi...
This is my first POST..hope this goes well... :helpsmilie: Im flying to RIO and Im gonna buy a bike there and begin my first trans continental bike ride to Alaska. If I arrive into Brazil without an Onward flight will they allow me in the country? ? I thought I might get a cheap flight to another south american counrty(that im not even gonna use), but it seems to cost at a minimum €300 !!! So I was wondering will they allow me in without an onward flight or is there any other way to be allowed into the country without wasting the €300? Any info Much Appreciated, Thanks |

same question
Hi
I was going to ask this but so similar hopefully same thread will warrant same answer. I have a motorbike in Colombia. At the embassy in Bogota for my visa they ask for your onward ticket which I don´t have. I´m sure I´m not the only one going through Brazil like this. Anyone know what the situation is? thanks! |
The logical reason (for me, anyway) to require a ticket, or sufficient income, or credit card is to control unwanted immigration.
I believe, but can't state for a fact, that similar requirements have been in effect for many, many years, and in many countries. A proven source of income will suffice. |
