one way tickets to uk.
 

hello all,
i am planning a trip next year from london to india and am wondering about the restrictions for flying into heathrow on a one way ticket.
i know that uk customs normally restict entry to people travelling on one way tickets,however if im travelling overland with a carnet and paperwork for the bike would this be enough evidence to prove i have an onward passage out of the country..

Been done before, I owuldn't expect any trouble. Best bet is to have several credit cards and a bank reference of some sort as proof of funds.
