Paperwork Needed: Morocco - Mongolia on Moroccan Registered Bike
Hello everyone,
I currently live in Morocco (have residency) and have purchased a Honda 250 CBX, it is registered in my name and everything is 100 percent legit, but the registration is Moroccan and in Arabic/French. I am planning a big trip from Tangier to Ulaanbatuur (hopefully in 2021, inshacorona) and was wondering if I would need any special paperwork, or if the fact that my motorcycle is Moroccan will give me any trouble. The paperwork I plan on bringing is: 1. My Licensce (duh) 2. My IDP 3. Green Card International Insurance (already have) 4. Vehicle Registration a. I heard something about international registration (like IDP but for y our bike) would that be necessary? What other paperwork will I need? If any? After research I don't think I need a Carnet. My current route as of now is.. Morocco, Spain, France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Khazakstan, Uzebekistan, Kazakstan again, Russia (the bugaboo methinks), Mongolia. Will it be possible to do this trip with this bike? All the best! |

Sounds fun, good luck. You could of course take a ferry from Tanger Med to Genoa in Italy if you wanted to save almost 2,000 km of riding. You could also cut across the Adriatic from Bari in Italy to Durrës in Albania to save some more.

Good thinking! Haha, I will have to see how up to Europe I feel. It all depends on how much time I end up having! I appreciate all of yalls input.
