Paperwork for selling foreign bike in Colombia
 

Hola community,

I'm thinking about selling my Motorbike in Colombia since the shipping back to Europe is pretty expensive.
The Bike is bought and registered in Austria, it also comes with an Austrian licence plate.
What i've heard it's not possible to sell the Bike to a Colombian citizen but selling to another foreigner is.

Does anybody know the necessary steps to do so?

legally, one thing is sure, impossible to register a foreign bike in Colombia. Your best bet would be to sell the bike to someone who reside in the country where the motorcycle is registered.

If you can't sell it to locals for the parts.
