Passport and Vehicle registration are from different countries
Hello everyone,
I intend to travel East on my motorcycle through the EU, onwards thorough the Stans, maybe Iran, India and perhaps further still. The issue is that I want to ride my UK registered bike whilst using an Italian passport. Has anyone found that doing something similar has been the cause of major headaches at borders, buying insurance and so on and so forth? What kind of hassle could I expect? Any input very welcome. bier |
I drove an Australian registered 4x4 through Africa and into Europe. I have a UK passport.
Zero issues, nobody mentioned it at any border crossing so I'm sure you'll be fine. |
I have a British passport and have used my Spanish-registered bike and 4x4 in Africa—no problem if it's in your name.
