pay tax in Argentina
 

Is there anybody, who paid tax on his motorbike, to the customs in Argentina, because the residence permit was over the time ?
I`m looking for some information about that.

My friends shipped their bikes from USA to Argentina recently and had to pay about US$375 total to get them out of customs. It was all "real" charges, not bribes, though I don't know who got paid.
I am heading down in a few weeks to meet them and expect the same.
