Personal Travel insurance
 

Aussies!, I'm trying to find an insurance company in OZ that will cover me (Aussie resident) for the usual things for a RTW trip. For example, Hospital coverage in another country in case of accident or illness, flight home for treatment if needed, hospital cost coverage and so on. I haven't seen any recent information about aussie insurance companies so far on this site and after Covid I'm sure not all companies I have on the list will still be in operation, so up-to-date info. would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply. World Nomads won't cover me unfortunately. Not sure of the reason. Haven't tried medibank.

Sorry I just remembered Medibank is only up to 250cc. Shame WorldNomads won't cover you is the only one I currently know of, is a lot of work checking through all the policies hopefully can find something

I have spent a lot of time looking for travel insurance and this looks good, from their website it seems to cover everything I need, on and off-road. I am just waiting on email confirmation that there is no capacity limit.

I tried World Nomads, initially looked ideal. Then I discover that they do not provide cover if the bike is your main form of transport. So, pretty useless to most people here I would think.

Just had a reply from my email to CSM Ltd:
"The plans inherently cover all travel, including off-road motorcycling, but excludes motocross, motor rally and any form of racing or competition. In addition there are no engine capacity limits on motorcycles used."

So looks like just what I need.
