Personal travel insurance
Hi all,
Can anyone please help here. Have done many overlanding trips over last 15 years, always 2-up, incl rtw for 4 yrs. Have always used STA/ISIS for personal insurance as they PREVIOUSLY have covered motorcycle overland travel within their 'dangerous activities' bit. Now they don't. Does anyone out there know of other companies, policies which cover us 'dare-devil'!! 2-wheeled overlanders? - and this is personal travel insurance NOT bike insurance - ie medical cover, luggage, repatriation - all the usual garb. Would really appreciate any info anyone has, what they use etc. Thanks. |
The answers to your question are in one or two topics a little further down in this same forum.

Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately tried Direct Line as stated on lower thread and they only cover trips up to three months. I will need six months cover. Trailfinders will cover motorcycle overlanding but at a cost of £367.50 for six months - it used to be a lot cheaper with STA - can't find anyone else currently that covers you when motorcycling is main purpose of trip. Anyone know any different? |
Sorry Pat, my mistake, it's in a different forum: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...idents-21155-4
