registering a motorbike without being there

Hello together,
I have the same issue as many other people from Germany before me. That you can't enter South Korea as they specifically want the bike to be from a country that signed the Geneva road convention from 1949.

I thought now maybe I can get my bike registered in a country that is part of the Geneva road convention and has a registration process where the bike doesn't need to be there.
I thought countries like Paraguay could be possible, but didn't found out more. (Also I thought about other EU countries but they still want a new inspection at their country, I still have a valid HU)

Did someone register a bike in another country without the bike or the owner being there (e.x. over an agent)

or other tips to get my German motorbike into Korea are welcomed

Best Regards,
John

That's VERY difficult - I would have to say extremely unlikely - generally they at least want to see the bike, the serial number, does it pass their rules for the road, AND of course you have to pay Taxes to import it into the country.
NOT a recommended procedure if you can POSSIBLY avoid it.

Loads more discussion on this from way back - https://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hu...ed-south-21644

Sadly all I can think of is a crate and ship through. :(
PLEASE be sure to let us know if you find an answer!
