Mongolian Visas seems to be simple enough to get on the road (we got one in a day in Amaty last year).

Thanks Craig, its reassuring having feedback.

I assume that you are going from South Korea to Russia via the Dong Hae ferry ? If so you need to allow 2 or 3 days for clearance of your bike in Vlad and I would recommend using Yuri Melnikov to clear you through customs.
Also, when we were there in June/July 2011 (our bikes were delayed by 30 days !) tickets for the ferry were at times difficult for some guys to obtain because the ferry isn't huge and space sells out fast in the summer months so if you get a chance then prebook. Martin PS Our bikes came in by container not the ferry just in case you wondered. |

Thanks Martin, Are you not able to take your bike on the ferry? |
