Running out of time. Carnet in the UK
 

Hey guys,
I'm leaving on trip from London to Beirut on Aug 6th, and am unable to get hold of Paul Gowen from the RAC, as is recommended on this site.

I've left a couple of voicemails, and sent emails as well. I guess he's probably inundated with requests similar to mine.

Is there any other organisation/person out there that can help out with this?

Last time I checked the RAC were the only organisation that issue carnets in the UK.

Keep trying ! I ordered mine by faxing the application form & paying by credit card over the phone. The carnet turned up the next day by courier.

Not to worry guys, Paul got in touch with me this afternoon. Very nice guy. We've kicked off the process.

Did you guys know that he's currently the only guy in the RAC that deals with carnets?
