Russian Transit Visa in Armenia or Georgia
 

Hi Guys, have any UK passport holders managed to get a Russian transit visa in either Georgia or Armenia this year? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We have applied for a transit visa from the Russian Interest Section of the Swiss Embassy in Tbilisi. It has taken 10 days to process and we picked up our passports and visa today. The Russian staff at the embassy all spoke English and were very helpful, letting us bypass the queues of Russians. You need to fill out the application form online and print it out - https://visa.kdmid.ru/PetitionChoice.aspx ours cost $60 each.

Good luck with your application and thanks for posting your experience, when I travelled that way a couple of years ago it was all but impossible for Brits to get one anywhere other than London which may explain the lack of replies to your original post.
