Scotland-India Import Paperwork
 

Hi, I am riding my XS850 from Scotland to Delhi next year and then leaving the bike there. I have a man in Delhi who is willing to do the paperwork necessary, but he is telling me to just wait until I reach there before starting with that. I was thinking that it would be better to have all the import papers to hand before I reached the Indian Border and surely it effects the proceedure for the Carnet also? If anyone can give me some pointers I would be very pleased, thanks.
