anyone know if its possible to sell my bike to a local argentine? red tape? problems getting out of the country without my bike? cheers!

Someone I know and his riding buddy sold two GS Beemers in Argentina without importing them through legal channels about twenty years back, FWIW.
Illegal, yes.
But he did get out of the country with no hassles.
Which with hindsight was a shame because he turned out to be a right James Blunt.
But that, as they say, is a whole different story.
