Selling US plated car/bike in Belize or Guatemala?
 

Hello!

We are planning few months long trip to Mexico and on of the option is to buy a car (we travel with baby so bike is not possible ;) ) in USA, go south and sell it in Guatemala or Belize?

Do you know if it's possible?
What I could found is that
1) in Guatemala there is a vehicle age limit - 10 years, which make it impossible for us as we don't want to spend too much for a car. Can anyone confirm that limit or give some advices?
2) it seems that in Belize it is possible but I would pay 70% of car value of import tax. On the other hand I also found information that foreigner can not sell a vehicle at all. Any information about that?
