Storing Bike in Georgia, Tbilisi
 

I am on my way to Tbilisi, Georgia, arriving first week October, and plan to, leave the bike there (it is US registered, trip started in Germany) over the Winter, fly home to US and return next Spring to continue my ride back to Western Europe.

Can anyone tell me how long I can leave the bike in Georgia, time limits, as I don't want to get into any issues with import taxes, etc.

Any information appreciated, or a reference to where I can get this information.

There is no current laws.Even there is no road insurance in Georgia,your bike may be stuck there.Thats why Turkish insurance policy covers Georgia also.
So a clear choice will be to keep it in Trabzon customs with anex-7 or 8 forms.

I need to ride the bike to Tbilisi, that is the whole purpose of my trip! I want to leave it there for a few months and come back next May/June to ride it out of Georgia.

I'm hoping to do the same this year. Is there any more information about where and how long we could leave our UK reg bikes in Georgia?
