Hi!

Does anyone know how a temporary import work?
How long is it valid?
IS it renewable?
What hidden costs?
Can you do this with a new and secondhand bike?
Is it worth it?

Im living in Madgascar and am planning to import a bike from South Africa.
But I prefer not paying import tax because it seems to be very very very much, close to 50% according to one source!

Im looking for general information please. I am not familiar with the concept of temp imorts etc!
