Thai bikes going to Laos
 

Hi

I'm trying to find out if there are any issues with taking a Thai registered bike into Laos.
I'm told the rules have changed as of Feb 2006.

Yes, big problems at the moment. The Lao authorities are not letting any foreign motorcycles into Laos at the Friendship Bridge border crossing near Vientiane. Apparently its not a problem at the other border crossings.
