Travel insurance for returning South African
 

Hi,

I am currently living in the UK.

I have a 8 months overland trip through Europe and Africa back to my home country South Africa (where I will stay permanently).

The UK travel insurers say they cannot cover a non-returning traveler, while the South African insurers say they cannot cover a traveler starting outside South Africa...

Any ideas ?? doh

Suggestion: Take out the insurance and should you need to claim prior to crossing the border to RSA, don't mention that you weren't intending to return to the UK. I'm sure you'll still have some sort of address in the UK, won't you?
